Last night,my mum managed to get reservations for dinner at The Line(way to go mum!).So basically its some fancy seafood buffet coz there is not much red meat.Mainly,its things like tuna and Jap food.It's also damn difficult to book as some people have to book a week or more ahead of time.Its mostly a cross between Asian food and Western food but the quality is damn high.The food tastes so.......SHIOK AH!!!!
When we got into the car to go,I saw one very interesting thing...le car was DAMN DIRTY no idea why but most likely had to do with the rain in the afternoon.Going to Shangri-la was terrible as there was a monster traffic jam.When we finally got there,it was so damn pai seh as well the car looked like crap in the light.Well we quickly got to the place and we were forced to wait for a table even though we had a reservation(sian)however i think it was worth the wait but our table was damn far away from the good stuff.Well needless to say,the food was pretty good but their japanese sashimi needs a lot of work temperature wise.It's way too freckin warm to enjoy.It would be nearly impossible to recount exactly what i ate but i loved the satay,grilled tuna,swordfish and the various dim-sum(pretty good)I had some Iced Lemon Tea which was very lousy...before adding the syrup.
However one thing i remember damn well is the dessert!I had mango sorbet at first but i wanted to try more.I went to grab a slice of mango chessecake(that's what i think it was)some mousse(also unclear as to what it was)and some chocolate covered strawberries(chocolate fountain......sweet!)My bro had strawberry ice-cream which some idiot cleared b4 bro finished it(WHY DUDE WHY!!!)My sister took the chocolate flavour ice-cream(which became ice-less(melted))haizzz.....
After dessert,sister,brother,mother,moi(well..just everybody) toyed around with the cameras in the handphones.Took a couple of pictures with each other,passed the pictures around by bluetooth and took some weirdo pics of my bro using the various frames in my phone.So funny.We left after that and when we claimed our car I was kinda shocked to see the car in an even worse state of dirt than before so we quickly left the place.The trip back was full of singing(Jay Chou etc..)came home very stuffed oh and we found a tiny cockroach nymph near Russell(he freaked out LOL!)Couldn't sleep at all as i was so damn full so damn happy!)
